At Free House Dance Plus (FHDP), dancers of all abilities and ages are warmly welcomed!

A non-competitive studio, FHDP supports the technical and artistic development of the dancer and offers performance opportunities, yearly evaluations and travel experiences. With a history of 25 years, a teaching faculty of 36 instructors, three floors of dance space and 30 different styles of classes, Free House is a premier dance destination in Calgary.

Kids aged three to 18 and adults 18+ can learn various styles of dance offered at FHDP. Styles include: Kinderdance, Modern, Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Indo Jazz, Bellydance, African, Flamenco as well as classes such as Aerial Yoga, Flex & Tone, Pilates and Drumming. Our instructors are professional, bring a passion and zest for their art and encourage others in their learning.

Free House Dance Plus is celebrating their 25th year anniversary in 2012! Currently, our students are preparing for the Year End shows, which occur in June. This is the first year that we will be offering a special show for our Performance Division dancers and adult students. Also, in July, a group of students and parents will be traveling to New York City to participate in dance classes, tour the city and see 4 major broadway productions.

Past highlights of the season include: an afternoon workshop with a cast member of Stomp! A specialty class learning how to Hula dance. And an introduction of Burlesquercise, a class focused on cardio steps and set routines with sexy flare!
